Farinolio's first event - The secrets behind a great Tuscan Prosciutto

We are excited to announce our first official event at Farinolio! Join us on Saturday, September 15th at 6:30 pm to learn the ancient tradition of making prosciutto in Tuscany with Filippo Gambassi, the owner of Terra di Siena, a traditional Tuscan “salumeria” in Siena (Italy). One of Farinolio’s suppliers and partners, Filippo will explain the art of handcrafting pure meats into genuine and tasty products. You will learn how to discern a Tuscan prosciutto from other Italian types of prosciutto through the sampling of some of his products. The fifth generation of a long family tradition, Filippo is passionate about his craft and loves to share his story.

The event includes a charcuterie board with Farinolio’s selection of imported cured meats, cheeses, organic vegetables and other specialties as well as a bottle of wine (.500ml for individuals and .750ml for couples).

Please sign up ASAP on Farinolio’s website as space to the event is limited to 20 persons.

Our next event dedicated to extra virgin olive oil will be held on Thursday, September 27th.
