Our Formaggio Experience is designed for all cheese lovers who are eager to try different varieties of cheeses imported from Italy and served with fresh fruit and honey. Farinolio will also offer a complimentary glass of Barbera wine. More wine will be available for purchase at Farinolio. We are not BYOB.

Limited tickets are available. Seats are first come first served. Please arrive 10 minutes earlier to pick up your seat.


TASTING:

- Parmigiano Reggiano 24 months aged
- Pecorino Toscano
- Pecorino Crotonese Fattoria della Piana
- Robiola Nonno Nanni
- Gorgonzola Piccante Carozzi

BARBERA WINE: medium-bodied red wine with an intense ruby color, this Northern Italian variety shows a strong character of red fruits like cherries and raspberries. Oak-aged, smooth tannins, and nice finish. Perfect with cheese!

Producer notes: The Neri family has a strong attachment to Barbera as it originates from the Piemonte area where their maternal family is from. Minimum of 12 months aging in a large oak cask to tame this opulent wine's aggressive acidity and tannic structure.

When we talk about "La Dieta Mediterranea” and healthy food, there is always a common denominator: extra virgin olive oil. Join us for this fun and educational tasting and learn why l’olio extra vergine di oliva is your closest ally when it comes to a healthy lifestyle.

Farinolio will welcome you to this special workshop & dinner where you will get to taste and learn about two different types of extra virgin olive oils from Azienda Agricola Talente in San Casciano Val di Pesa, which are exclusively available at Farinolio.

MENU:

Fettunta | Toasted bread with caramelized red onion, roasted eggplant & sun-dried tomato, a drizzle of IGP Tuscan evoo

Risotto | Citrusy risotto with Tuscan evoo DOP & toasted hazelnuts

Fagioli all'uccelletto & salsiccia | Cannellini beans in a silky and garlicky tomato sauce served with roasted sausage and a drizzle of Tuscan IGP evoo

Frutta arrosto | Roasted fruit with ricotta cream dollop, a drizzle of Dop Tuscan evoo & crumble pistachio cantucci
